From 28 May until 1 June, playwright Louise Page will be writer-in-residence in Woolwich. She will gather stories from local people, which she will then develop into a script for a daily live mini-series, directed by Stewart Melton.

There are two opportunities for young artists to be involved…

Young Writers Opportunity
6 emerging writers will work as collectors and shapers of stories alongside Louise. Your role will focus on helping to source stories from local people, and to record material. To register your interest email chris@glypt.co.uk

Young Actors Opportunity
A group of 12 young actors will work with director Stewart Melton to stage the 5 daily episodes. You will be required from 2pm to 7pm each day. We are looking for young performers who are interested in the craft of acting and development of character, and who feel confident and comfortable working as part of an intense process. Auditions take place on w/c 14 May. To apply email chris@glypt.co.uk. DEADLINE EXTENDED: 10am, Monday 14 May
