ARTIST SUPPORT

Each season we support a number of artists or companies to make new work, through rehearsal space, mentoring, advice and performance opportunities. For Autumn, our resident artists are:

24th – 28th September: Contingency Theatre
This young company are creating a new piece called George. This dark comedy following an epic adventure to have a once in a lifetime meeting with “J”, an all-powerful and ever looming figure of authority. Catch the work-in-progress of this new show at GENERATOR in September.

12th – 16th November: Ant Lightfoot
Emerging solo artist, Ant Lightfoot, is creating a new performance about OCD, therapy and failure, combining live art, movement and stand-up comedy. You can catch a work-in-progress performance at CHARGED, our end of season mini-festival on 17 November.

If you are a young / emerging artist and would be interested in applying for an artist residency in the future, then keep an eye on our website or join Progression (email chris@glypt.co.uk).
