The third installment of our regular evening of new performance event returns with a comedy special – short scratch pieces from young artists, alongside a work-in-progress of George by resident company Contingency Theatre, and a headline set by Shirley & Shirley.

SCRATCH PERFORMANCES
Leatherette Sack, Dan de la Motte, Aidan Strudwick and Lucy C Hayward will all share short pieces of work they are currently developing. There will be an opportunity to give your feedback to the artists.

CONTINGENCY THEATRE (Progression Artist in Residence)
Contingency Theatre present a work-in-progress of their new piece, George – a dark comedy following an epic adventure to have a once in a lifetime meeting with “J”, an all-powerful and ever looming figure of authority.

SHIRLEY & SHIRLEY
A guest performance by successful sketch duo, Shirley & Shirley, who have been performing their unique brand of comedy throughout the UK for a decade. From dive bars to 1,000-seater theatres, they have performed throughout the UK, including six Edinburgh Festivals, as well as in Los Angeles.
A riot of silliness, lovingly and confidently honed into a show that shouldn’t be missed. (Three Weeks)
