Work with professional director (Lucy Coren) and a writer (Tunde Euba) to research, devise and perform an outdoor public performance in Greenwich Park. This is a newly commissioned piece of work for public audiences, and the opportunity is open to young performers, designers, directors and writers.

Young artists will take part in an R&D weekend, with selected participants taking part in an 8-day rehearsal process, with 4 days of performances for schools and public audiences. The performance will tell the story of Charles Ignatius Sancho – composer, writer, actor, and first known black Briton to vote. Sancho was born into slavery, educated in secret, and once lived on the edge of Greenwich Park.

GLYPT will cover travel expenses for all participants (TFL travel within London).
